Well, since it SNOWED last week, we decided to take advantage of the nice Sunday afternoon and go for a drive to see the fall colors...and we ended up taking a nice hike in the mountains!
The aspens were beautiful...
Reily hiked the whole time! We didn't bring the hiking backpack since we were just planning to drive...but he was a trooper! He loved the sticks and rocks and bugs...that's my boy! But my favorite part was when he would say "
shhhh, quiet,
shhhhh" without any prompting, since we didn't say it to him...he recognized that it was quiet out there, and I could almost see him appreciating the beauty and stillness of God's creation...
