Isaac's Surgery

Isaac had surgery on Thursday 3/14/13 to put in ear tubes--and he did great!!! Hans took the day off, and his parents watched the other boys so the three of us could go to Littleton Hospital together. Surgery was set for 9:30 AM, but we had to be there 2 hours early...Isaac was so calm through the whole thing! He got a little green bunny he named Hoppy, and a bear who got to do everything Isaac did-right down to the hair cover for surgery!

They let me put on scrubs and go back to the operating room with him, and watch him go under-then it was literally a 20 minute surgery and the doctor said it went great! His left ear was infected and had a lot of fluid, and some fluid in the right, so we're hoping the tubes help him hear better! The ENT said it looked like he'd been hearing like he was under water for years...no wonder his speech is delayed!
