Since he still has the milk allergy (they say 70% of kids outgrow it by year 1---but not Reily!), we have him eating soy yogurt. He likes it!
He loves all of his new birthday toys!

I didn't know Reily had a milk allergy. George does as well, the protein is going through the breast milk. I have not been eating dairy or soy for 2 months now.
That's what happened with us too--we found out he had the milk allergy at about 4 months. It was MISERABLE not being able to eat dairy...no milk, no butter, no ice cream! I had a very hard time with it...we didn't find out about the egg or peanut allergy until 10 months...but by 9.5 months he had pretty much weaned himself so I could eat normal again...Good luck--I'd trade my dairy and egg-packed diet to avoid the costs of formula any day!
