Our two huge Broncos fans have been having a blast watching their team--whether they deserved the wins or not, it's been fun to watch football with our little one!
BRONCOS on his bottom...now that's a true fan! If anyone can find one of these in an Adult Large for Hans, I'd love to get it for his birthday coming up! :)
Not much else going on here. Hans is crazy busy with work--September 30 is the end of the fiscal year so he's been very busy with that. Lee and Ellen, Hans' parents, just got back from 2 weeks in Africa yesterday, so we got to pick them up from the airport and have dinner with them. They have some amazing stories--we can't wait to see the pictures! Reily welcomed them home by crying his head off the entire ride back from the airport--nothing says "Glad your back, Mom and Dad really need a date--you should offer to babysit me" like a screaming one year old!
Reily and I did have a fun (and well-behaved!) trip to Centennial Airport last week to visit my Dad at work. He works for a leer jet (sp?) company that does private flights for rich people and also does Flight for Life flights. They also take care of the Broncos and Rockies airplanes. Reily got to walk around the planes and tour them and the airport, and he loved it! I forgot my camera, but got a few great pics of Reily and Grandpa Jim in front of the Rockies plane on my cell phone. Problem is, I have no idea how to get the pictures off of my cell phone. Can anyone tell me if this is possible, and if so, how I do it?? I'll post the pics if I can ever figure out how to do it!
We also had a wonderful lunch at The Perfect Landing restaurant. Reily was so well behaved because he was fascinated by the planes taking off and landing right outside the window. I guess the trick to keeping a one year old happy in public is to distract him! :)
