Airplane Park and the Zoo!

I'm sorry I've been so bad about blogging! Here's an update on last week...

We went to Airplane Park in Englewood with a few friends from my MOPS group last week...Grandma Ellen came too and brought Deanna, a pre-teen girl who she mentors through a group that works with with at-risk youth. Deanna loves Reily and it was so great to have them there to help with the boys! This is after we played in the creek for awhile--I forgot to bring Reily a bathing suit, so he got to run around while his clothes dried.

He's also started refusing to wear shoes, especially sandals and water shoes...he'll scream and kick if I try to put them on him. He still wears his StrideRites without complaining though! I guess he's already to the stage where he'll only wear the really expensive shoes... :)

Here's a picture of him after he fought me for about 5 minutes...I think the looks says "don't even think about trying it again!" (But as a side note...I did eventually get him to put on his water shoes because I wouldn't let him play in the creek without them, and he really wanted to play in the water with his friends. Mommy wins!) :) Random picture: Reily loves playing with chalk in the backyard...doesn't he look mischievous??

My cousin Jenn and I took her son Cameron, Reily and Isaac to the zoo one day...I'm sure grateful for her help, because it definitely takes two people to watch Reily! The babies were great...Reily was the handful, as usual! :)
