Tori's 2nd Birthday!

Two years ago today... Today our "niece" Tori turned 2 years old! She's not really related, but she's the daughter of our good friends Kim and Brian, and we're a lot closer to them than we are to most of our own family, so she's our honorary niece. She and Reily have grown up together since they were born 11 days apart.

We had a fun time celebrating at her birthday party...Here's Grandpa Lee with Isaac...

Tori refused to smile for pictures...she's got the 2 year old 'tude, too! Glad it's not just Reily!
Here's a picture of Reily after he put himself in time out for throwing sand. It was cute to watch him go into time out after I said "Reily!" He knew he shouldn't throw sand...now if only the threat of a time out would stop him from doing something wrong in the first place!
The kids had a good time standing against the wall and then running races across the room...Reily won most of them--he's such a fast runner already! Daddy is so proud...
This is my favorite picture of the day...Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Schaal holding Isaac.
Tori blowing out her candles.
The kids gathered around the toys...this is before The Meltdown, as I'll call it.

The Meltdown began when Tori got a train set as a present. Reily loves trains, and completely lost it when he couldn't play with it. We're talking screaming, crying, hysteria...I guess I learned my lesson: Never wake up a sleeping toddler to take him to a birthday party!

No more pictures...we left after that!

Happy Birthday, Tori!! :)
