Well, my darling son has been three for 24 days now…but alas, I’m finally posting pictures!
This was the first year Reily really understood what a birthday was, or at least, recognized that it was a “big” deal. We had a fun day on his actual birthday…we had a coffee date with our friends Heidi and Ty, where the boys got to pig out on Italian Creme Sodas and pastries. (Mom may have enjoyed some too!)

Then we went to the zoo…
And topped off the night by going to Chuck-E-Cheese’s with Daddy!
On the Saturday after his birthday, we had The Baseball Party! In keeping with Reily’s obsession with baseball, and my desire to make wonderful memories with the boys, we attempted the Baseball field cake and baseball cupcakes…
Knowing my bad luck with cakes, I was afraid I would ruin it, but it ended up turning out, no one dropped it, and Reily LOVED it! Seeing the joy on his face made all of the work worth it!
Of course, we played baseball in the backyard at the party… 
And had a baseball pinata made by my wonderful cousin, Jenn!! The kids had a blast hitting it with the baseball bat…everyone got a turn until Reily finally got to keep hitting it until it broke!
