The children of our church sang some Christmas carols during one of the services…it was Reily’s big debut in church performances! I’m not partial or anything, but the youngest kids are definitely the cutest…especially because they usually do adorable things to mess up the performance. And Reily played his role well! Do you see him in the picture, wearing the red sweater vest?
During the first song, Reily decided to turn around and face the rest of the kids, and had his back turned to the audience for the whole song! He was singing though…and I was cracking up!
For the next song, his teacher got him to turn around and face the congregation, but he sat down for the entire song! Everyone was laughing by this point…
Memories…between my laughing and tearing up at the same time since I can’t believe my baby is old enough to participate in church programs. I am one proud mama!
After church we went to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa, who came down to see the kids sing.
