Yeah, yeah, I know…it’s 2/25/11 and I’m finally getting around to blogging about Christmas, 12/25/10. Sigh. I figured everyone forgot about this blog, but then I had a friend from college nag me about not blogging, and here I am! (Thanks for holding me accountable, Marisa!) I’m glad someone still keeps up with us! :)
So…Christmas. It was a wonderful season and so full of joy this year…the boys really enjoyed all of the festivities and we were able to solidify a lot of our family traditions and create some wonderful memories!
Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk!! (Or maybe it was Dudley the puppy dog, who was still staying with us!)
Presents!
This is the first year Isaac really understood unwrapping gifts…so cute!
The aftermath…
We have a wonderful singing/dancing Santa that the boys love and play with all the time during the weeks leading up to Christmas. We thought it was a little creepy when Isaac walked into the room carrying just Santa’s head! Yikes! We’re not sure what happened, but the head fits back on just fine!
And who could be mad at this little guy??
We celebrated later that day with our families and had a yummy dinner which included a Buche de Noel that we made and called "Jesus’ birthday cake.”
And of course, wrapped up the day with, you guessed it—more presents!!
Just 10 more months until next Christmas! :)
