Hans took the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day off, and we filled it with many fun adventures! We went to Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo with my Aunt Neeny!
We tried to get a family picture, and of course, had to frowning boys. I don’t know why we can’t get nice smiles out of them—they really do smile!!
Isaac and Neeny, or as he says “NayNay.”
Riding the Carousel!!
Then we went to the Museum of Nature and Science with my cousin Jenn, her son Cameron, and my Aunt Connie and Uncle Joe! Here are the boys playing in sand and water…
And Jenn and Uncle Joe taking a brain test where they use their brain activity to move the ball across a table…I’ll leave the winner a secret! :)
The museum has a computer program where they take your picture and then project what you’ll look like when you’re older…here’s what they say Hans will look like when he’s 70. The photo on the left is with regular aging, and the one on the right is if he has sun damage.
And here’s what they say Reily will look like! The photo on the left is at age 70 with regular aging, and the photo on the right is what he’ll look like at 70 if he’s obese. Weird!!
Here’s a photo from 12:01 AM on New Year’s—we celebrated with friends and the boys slept upstairs, but woke up at 11:50 and got to celebrate the New Year! I was so happy I could kiss all of my sweeties at midnight!
We’ve had quite a bit of snow, which has meant playing outside a lot! The boys LOVE to play in the snow—It’s such a pain to get them all bundled up in their snow suits, hats, gloves, boots, etc, but they have a blast! And then we come inside and drink “ah coco” as Isaac says, or “just warm Hot cocoa” as Reily says!
Run Daddy, Run!
“It’s always time for baseball!” says Isaac.
Daddy and his boys!
We painted the snow with food coloring and made a mural…this is the finished product!
