Hans, Lisa, Reily, Isaac & Lucas: Life in Colorado...

Well, I haven't posted for awhile because it has been so darn crazy around here! Hans has been studying and working like crazy on his Masters degree--he'll be done on FRIDAY!!! WOO HOO!!!!! He'll get an MBA with a Management emphasis from the University of Colorado, (he went to the Colorado Springs campus), though he won't walk in the graduation ceremony until December. It has been a little under 2 years of lots of hard work, some VERY long papers, and quite a bit of stress for everyone, but we are so blessed that he was able to get the Air Force to pay 100% and he has so much more business knowledge as a result!

We also just found out that he'll be getting a permanent position at Peterson Air Force Base (where he works now, in Colorado Springs)!!! He'll be the Lead Budget Analyst for the Ranges program of the Space Program. I don't exactly know what that entails, but it has something to do with launching things into Space, and he has a trip to one of the space shuttle launch sites in California next month. He starts there on August 1, and he's really excited about this new challenge!

My job continues to wind down...I'm only working 2 days a week, and though there's no specific end date yet, we're hoping they'll be able to find someone to hire as a replacement this month. I'm really looking forward to stepping out of the professional world for a little while!! It's amazing how God is providing for us...I'll stop working at almost the exact same time Hans gets a permanent position (and a nice raise)! We're continually amazed how we couldn't plan any of this but God is working through all of the details for us!
