We've had a really easy winter this year...until this last week when the "Blizzard of 2009" was supposed to hit. They were talking about us getting up to 2 feet of snow and everyone was in panic mode...but it ended up not being that bad...we maybe got 8 inches. (Of course, Hans still had a 3 hour and 45 minute commute home from work on Thursday...luckily he left early!) He got Friday off, and the boys shoveled the driveway while I took pictures and made hot chocolate...gotta love being 36 weeks pregnant! :)
Reily is such a good helper...and so independent! He would fuss whenever we tried to help him shovel...he wanted to do it all on his own!
Reily also insisted on riding his tricycle on the icy driveway. What a weirdo! But he had a good time...he loves that tricycle!
This morning I made fresh-squeezed orange juice from the oranges my grandparents always give me when we visit them, and
Reily LOVES the OJ! He insists on drinking it himself out of a big boy cup, which is often quite messy, but he does really well with orange juice and tries his best not to spill! He had 3 glasses today! Needless to say, we've had a lot of fun these past few snow days!
