O-R-E-O’s

I decided to hop in the shower this morning, Reily was still sleeping and Isaac was playing trains…

After a few minutes, I decided to pop out and make sure Isaac was okay…he normally comes right into the bathroom and joins me for a “o-wa,” so I was wondering what he was up to…  I look out the bathroom door to see both boys awake, sitting on our bedroom floor with an open package of OREOs (that I’d hidden!) and 2 cupcakes!  They both looked like deer caught in the headlights and then grinned ridiculous, chocolatey grins…

What did I do?  Roll my eyes, take a mental picture, and hop back in the shower to enjoy another 5 minutes of peace and quiet in a shower by myself!  Mother of the Year?  Maybe not…but when I got back out of the shower and dried off, I went out and Reily, proudly, holds up the now-empty OREO package, and points to each letter and says “Look Mom!  O-R-E-O!” 

I’m so glad he’s learning his letters somehow! :)
