Hans and I took the boys down to the Colorado Pumpkin Patch in Monument…we went last year and had a blast, so we wanted to go back! Here we are on the hayride…
Little Candy Corn boys!
Of course, the favorite attraction this year were the slides…Reily did it over and over and over last year, and this year Isaac went down a lot too—as long as Daddy was with him!! He was a little scared at first, but Daddy kept him safe and they had a blast!
Whee!!
As soon as they got to the bottom of the slide, Isaac would grab Hans’ hand and say “Again! Again!” and drag him up the hill! He was in heaven! I cherish those sweet moments with the boys…
Of course we had to play pumpkin bowling! Isaac actually did pretty well this year…Reily got bored after a few tries…
And moved on to the pumpkin catapult!! :)
They tried to make their way through the rope maze…those things just drive me nuts so I opted to stay out and take pictures! :)
Reily loves to climb, and he thought he was the coolest 4 year old on top of the hay tower!
My sweet little punkins!
Family picture at the pumpkin patch…
Watching the hay ride go by in the toddler sized hay maze!
Isaac could have spent all day in this tube rolling around in the hay!
But then he wanted to go see the animals!
We had a great time at the pumpkin patch…that evening we went over to Grandpa Jim’s house and went swimming, and of course we had to play golf! The boys LOVE playing golf with my Dad…they’re actually pretty decent, and then get SO excited when they get the ball in the hole!
We went to dinner that night at Romano’s and Hans’ parents brought Hans’ grandpa—Jo Jo Bob! They were on their way home from picking him up from the train for his visit…the boys LOVED seeing him!
It was also the first time (I’m NOT exaggerating), that someone in a restaurant came over to me and said “Your boys are so well-behaved!! I’m very impressed, it’s a reflection on you…” Of course I was glad and smiled and thanked the lady…they WERE being really good boys, especially since we were at the restaurant for over 2 hours…but it bugs me when people say that because that just means the other 99% of the time when the kids are just being kids, they are really thinking you’re just a bad parent! :)
Reily with both Grandpas!
Sharing an Italian soda since they were such good boys! (Hans was very well behaved too!)
Snuggling up…Isaac was exhausted by the end of dinner and I thought he would fall asleep on me! :)
What a fun day! More pictures of Jo Jo Bob’s trip to come soon!

LOVE the pumpkin patch! We need to go next year! Looks like fun! And I KNOW you guys are wonderful parents regardless of how the boys act in restaurants! I know it's a nice compliment when they're good, but even when they act...like boys...you're still amazing parents!
