**Edited to update the stats...I was reminded that we actually know one other couple, who are due one day before us, who are having a girl. Stats are now at: 12 couples: 8 boys, 2 girls, 2 mysteries. Sorry!!
Hans and I counted the other day and we know of 11 babies who are due in the first few months of 2009...either high school friends, college friends, extended family or close coworkers...it's crazy!
I went to a baby shower last week for one friend, and I just got home from a baby shower for our dear friends Anna and John and their baby girl (John--thank you SO MUCH for babysitting Reily!!!!) It's a BABY BOOM!!!! John and Anna are the only ones we know who are definitely having a girl...out of the other 10 couples, 8 are definitely boys, and two aren't finding out. It's a BOY BABY BOOM!
The good news is, out of the two baby boys (who were born last week and this morning), our baby's name hasn't been "taken!" :) Tucker and Tyson are very cute names (and very cute babies!), but thankfully, Baby Boy Robinson #2's name is still unused in our sphere of babies, which is rapidly growing.
As for other news in our world...Hans left this morning to go to Baltimore for a business trip this week. He'll be home on Saturday, which seems like forever...but I'm sure we'll keep busy! He's really excited about his private tour of the Pentagon that he and a coworker somehow managed to arrange...lucky guy! I'm planning to busy myself with taping the new nursery so Hans can paint it when he gets home...it's hard to believe the new baby will be here in 3 months!

Is the name Eustace? You're killing me with the anticipation of your baby's name! One of our good friends just had a baby boy that they named Charlie after his grandfather. So we're not original, but we still like the name.
Wow, there must be something in the water! That's a lot of babies!
