Big Boy Bed

Here's a picture of Reily in the pack-and-play in our room...he likes to climb in it, but can't figure out how to get out of it yet...and I just liked this picture of Reily and Bella...they like to look out of the window in the baby's room and look for Daddy to come home from work... Our big news this week is that Reily is now officially sleeping in a big boy bed! We've been working on the new baby's nursery, but didn't think Reily was ready to move out of the crib yet. We figured we had plenty of time because the new baby will sleep in our room for awhile, but we thought we'd put the big boy bed in Reily's room so he could get used to it at his own pace. Well, the minute we got his room set up, we realized he was ready! He LOVED it! We literally couldn't take him out of his room--he would scream! He loves the new set up--and especially likes jumping on the bed. He'll even go lay down in bed and say "night-night" when he's tired. After a successful nap time and night-time, we moved the crib into the new baby's room and Reily hasn't looked back!

We ended up putting his crib bumper around the wall so he won't hit his head and wake himself up--he likes to lay against something when he sleeps, so this works great...

Sweet dreams...

I just took this picture of Hans and Reily...they were being a little too quiet...I think Daddy must have fallen asleep first...he needed a nap just as much as Reily!
