We've had multiple days of tornado warnings... (nothing like having two sleeping kids and praying that a tornado doesn't touch down while you run down to the basement and watch the black clouds and hail come down!)
Our DVD player broke... (Reily was not very happy about it. Neither was I! We have awesome friends who gave us a new one for free--what a blessing!)
I fell down the stairs and bruised or broke my tailbone... (Praise the Lord I wasn't holding one of the boys! It could have been much worse...but needless to say, I've been in a lot of pain the past 10 days...I'm doing better though, just can't sit for long periods of time--thank goodness for my sweet husband who took great care of me and boys!)
We thought our washing machine was broken--it was making a horrible sound...(it appears to have fixed itself though--woohoo! It's amazing how much laundry we have as a family of four!)
But we've had our fair share of fun moments despite the chaos...here are some recent pictures...
We went down to the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur--you could get buy-one-get-one free tickets for opening weekend, and the boys are free...so we decided to go. Reily loved the popsicle treats--notice how red his lips are!
Isaac slept the whole time again...I love the Baby Bjorn carrier! :)
Reily was fascinated with the knights and horses. They performed a battle for us...
People like to dress up (notice the people in the background...) You can find some very interesting people at these places...it was fun to see!
Of course, he loved the petting zoo...
Silly guy...got into my purse. Of course, this is my 3rd pair of sunglasses this summer, and he knows he's not allowed on the table, so he immediately got into trouble after I snapped this picture. :)
Reily...he loved watching Shrek, but it's one of our only VHS movies, so it got a little old!
Here's Reily being a good big brother--throwing away Isaac's dirty diaper. What a big helper!
Little Isaac...he's smiling more now, but it is so rare that it's hard to get on camera! And they're so fast that I can never get an actual picture of a smile! He's just a serious baby, I guess--that's what the doctor said. He's already very different from our smiley Reily, but he has a sweet, quiet personality...
