Here are some thoughts…no order or reason, just a list to give a peek into life at the Robinson household.
- I’m so thankful we’ve never experienced a natural disaster first hand. My heart goes out to the people in the South, in Japan, (all over the world, really) that lost everything…and I think I should probably be a little more prepared for an emergency.
- Little boys who used to be such good, easy sleepers should not be allowed to turn 2 and start waking up 3 times a night…I’m not going to lie though…I’m really enjoying my cuddle time with Isaac. And I love how he curls up on his side when I lay him back down and puts his hands under his head…so adorable! Even at 1, 3, and 5 in the morning…
- I’m annoyed that our grass is practically dead all over and we have to try to re-seed it. I’ve never done that…it seems hard.
- I may or may not have gotten out the tiara I wore on my wedding day, and gone to a party today to watch the taped Royal Wedding wearing said tiara. What can I say? I love weddings and was always a fan of Prince William (I felt bonded to him since we both lost our moms…I remember watching Princess Di’s funeral in my room in the middle of the night when I was younger, and just knew one day Prince William and I would get married). Hmm…anyway, the party was a blast, with yummy tea and pastries…though I am grateful we don’t watch a lot of TV so I wasn’t bored/annoyed with all of the coverage in the weeks/days before the wedding, which I only heard about…
- Husbands should not be allowed to travel during the week on business, come home for 3 hours, and turn around and leave again on a men’s retreat with church. It’s truly worse to have him home for a few hours than to have him gone straight through…explaining to the boys today why Daddy WAS home, but is now gone again was really sad…and I’m emotionally drained as it is!
- We bought plane tickets today to go to California for family camp and to visit Hans’ family this summer…I can’t tell you how excited I am!! I wish it were right now!
- It’s 8:44 PM and I have a ton of work to do (real work, for my job…). All I want to do is crawl in bed and go to sleep…I think I just might do that. Good night! :)
