Relaxin’

Hans is taking this week between Christmas and New Year’s off, and we’ve had a wonderful time relaxing and spending time with each other…and getting ready for the baby to come!

Here’s a picture Hans snapped of the boys saying hi to the baby…and if you’re the type of person who cares about these things, for both my 36 and 37 week appointments, I’ve been 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced.  Since I’d already had Isaac by this point in my last pregnancy, I’m getting ready and every morning I wake up, I’m kind of surprised I’m still pregnant! :)  Oh well, he will come when he’s ready…but next week I’ll get an ultrasound to check his size, since he’s measuring big and they are concerned since I had shoulder dystocia with Reily.  If he hasn’t come by 39 weeks, and if the ultrasound shows that he’s really big, we may induce early…

We also took the boys to the movie theatre to see the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie…it was Isaac’s first visit to the movies, and Reily’s second!  They did really well, all things considered.  They loved the popcorn, but Isaac got a little restless when it was gone…and he may have kicked the seat in front of him a few times!  But oh well, he’s 2.5! 

The pictures didn’t turn out very well, but you get the point! :)

And these are just “Yay, I found my other camera!” pictures…I have a small camera that I carry in my purse to snap pictures while we’re out and about…and I lost it for about a month.  I just found in shoved in the bottom of the diaper bag, so I had a few old pics to post!

Mommy and Isaac at the Thanksgiving feast!  I’m not sure why Isaac always looks scared, mad, or has a goofy smile whenever we take a picture…sigh.

Now I’m off to enjoy more family time…and maybe add in a nap if I’m lucky!
