I’m finally getting around to putting up Thanksgiving pictures…but that means we’re getting closer to being caught up!
We started the day with a special breakfast…crepes since Mommy was missing France, and we happened to have Nutella and bananas…which make the best crepes ever!
Yum…
Then it was time for the annual Thanksgiving football game…the boys and I walked/rode up to the park to watch Daddy play…Reily LOVES riding his bike, which is almost too small for him now!
Cutie Isaac in his stroller…
The boys wanted to play with Daddy and the big guys…but instead they just tackled and chased each other and a friend off to the side…
Isaac LOVES football!
Side note, Hans ended up breaking his thumb while playing football. We thought it might just be jammed, but no, by that evening it was swollen and black and blue, so off to Urgent Care he went in the morning! Luckily it appears to be healing well!
Playing in the leaves with Tori…
Sweet brothers…but it was a good idea to keep wearing the bike helmet…tackle football can be rough!
After the game we went up to my Uncle Dave and Aunt Nancy’s house in Centennial…our favorite tradition!! We always have such a wonderful time and are reminded how blessed we are by our family!
Here are Grandpa Jim with the boys and Hans and James…
Cody and Andrew with the turkey…
Stephanie playing with the boys…who absolutely LOVED that she would play wild with them!!
Our little turkey family! The boys were wearing the hats we made at Little Monkey Bizness…
Part of the group right before we prayed…
Jo Jo getting ready to say the prayer…
And the boys promptly turned away from the tons and tons of amazing and delicious food and found Krispy Kreme donuts…I decided I wasn’t going to fight with them about what they ate that day. I’m pretty sure all they ate on Thanksgiving was donuts, candy, chips, and pie. Oh well…I sure enjoyed myself a lot more than if I was telling them “No!” every two seconds!!
Group shot!
I love these two!
Isaac looks like he’s up to something!
Grandpa Jim with Isaac…
Hans and Jo Jo in a deep discussion…
And the boys watching Cody play a video game of some sort…they kind of idolized him…
Me with my boys, and the cool toys they got to pick out from Aunt Nancy!!
Of course, watching football!
A picture of the crafts the boys made for everyone to put on the table…
And a picture of the little turkey that’s still in the oven! This was at 32 and a half weeks…(can you tell he’s measuring big??)
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
