New Year’s Eve Reflections

We finished the year enjoying more family time… like going to the museum and seeing the dinosaur exhibit again!

Listening to story time…

Getting ready to watch the IMAX movie—the boys did great!  It was a movie about elephants and orangutans!  They loved it, and haven’t stopped acting like baby orangutans!

Gotta love the 3D glasses!

2 year old tantrum, anyone?

We also went to Steak and Shake with Grandma—Yummy!

The boys weren’t very happy about the wait, but they sure liked the milkshakes!

We had a very low-key New Years.  Our friend Peter stayed with us for a few nights and we got together with Julia, Ismael and Maddie and played our annual game of Masterpiece!  So much fun…so much screaming…

I was in bed by 9ish on New Years—we thought we’d have a baby by then, so we didn’t make any big plans!  I woke up on and off until midnight, and Hans brought up sparkling cider and we toasted together while going over our 2011 reflections.  What a wonderful year, full of excitement and changes.  Can’t wait to see what 2012 holds!
