Audobon Zoo in New Orleans

On Saturday we went to the Audobon Zoo in New Orleans--it's supposed to be one of the top 5 zoos in the country, and it definitely lived up to it's reputation! We saw white tigers, gorillas, lions, tigers and bears, oh my, white alligators, and a lot of other extraordinary animals.

Here we are during the gorilla feeding...And here I am feeding a giraffe...notice how sweaty I am--it was SO humid--I will not miss the humidity down here one bit!
Reily got so excited when we saw the giraffes! They were so close, and he was in awe...

Reily also loves birds, and Hans got this great shot of this bird flying away as we walked by...
