Today Reily took his first steps! He's been very close for awhile, but today he was finally able to take a step, stay standing, and then lift his other foot up and take another step!
Hans was back "home" for lunch, so we were both able to witness it...(so far it seems like Hans has been the first one to see all of Reily's "momentous" first occasions). Later in the afternoon Reily took about 5 steps before falling, so it shouldn't be long now before he's ready to go out on a run with Daddy!
Reily didn't know what to think when we got so excited--he must not have realized what he was doing! He didn't hesitate to give us "High Fives" though! He loves giving high fives...
Proud papa...
