Father’s Day

We got together with my family and Hans’ family at his parents house for Father’s Day.  The boys napped for most of the time we were there, but we wanted to tell everyone we were expecting Baby #3, so we woke them up towards the end…

They were both wearing their big brother shirts under sweaters, so we gave everyone their presents and then took the sweaters off the boys and told them to look at the boys shirts to see their other present…

Here Jo Jo, Look at my shirt.  It says “Big Brother!”

They were all pretty slow and it didn’t quite connect…I’m not sure if they just didn’t read Isaac’s shirt, or assumed it said “Little Brother,” or what…

Finally my Dad said “Are you pregnant again!?” and then the following look of shock went across everyone’s face:

After a few minutes of shock people started talking again…I couldn’t post the video we took because it’s too much waiting for people to notice and say anything!

And then we had ice cream!

Luckily they’ve come around and are happy for us…I guess when you tell people you’re done having kids it’s more of a surprise to them when you tell them you’re expecting another! :)

All in all, a very fun and memorable Father’s Day…the boys love their Daddy so much, they want to be just like him!!  Here’s Reily wearing one of Daddy’s work shirts…
