Isaac’s started his obsession with cars and wanting to “Drive.” I remember Reily going through this stage…in fact, he still enjoys pretending to drive!
We’ve gone one a lot of fun playdates this summer…it was weird, the spring/early summer was really cold, so we had to bundle up!
This is a picture from a local park…Isaac will stick his finger in this hole even though he gets it stuck over and over. I think he just does it to test the “cause and effect” response of Mommy… “If I get my finger stuck and scream, will Mommy come and get it out?” I did this about 10 times, and then I ignored him. Then I took a picture of him…he looks so confused! Once we took it out, he didn’t do it again!

Our friend put on a wonderful music group for young kids one day a week during the school year where we could get together and sing songs, nursery rhymes, etc, and then have a snack, and then the kids played instruments…it was SUCH a blast!! The boys loved it…here are some pictures from the last day…
Miss Sally showing Isaac the turtle…we sometimes had trouble sitting in the circle because he wanted to go over and see the turtle during song time instead of waiting until the end!

We went to a free day at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens with some other mommies, and the boys had a blast doing all things-boy! (Girls enjoyed it too, though!) I was a little afraid they would be bored, but not so!

Miss Sally showed Reily how to use a map on our hike, and he was fascinated! He kept looking at the map and “guiding” us along the trail. I was so proud!

We went to a new park in Highlands Ranch that everyone was always raving about, and I’d never been to…the boys had a blast. Reily is obsessed with these climbing webs!
There are fountains and a little stream area for the kids to play in…can you find Hans helping Isaac?

I’m trying to catch up on blogging…the goal is to do shorter posts more often. We’ll see how I do! :)
