The boys and I went down to Colorado Springs to go to Hans’ big going away lunch at his job…of course, I couldn’t find my camera for that, but it was really, really nice…about 50 people from his work met at a restaurant for lunch. His boss and a few friends gave goodbye speeches, and Hans gave one too…it was great to be there with the boys so everyone could see them (they’ve watched them grow up!), and for me to be able to say goodbye too…Hans has made some amazing friends in the last 6 years!
After the lunch, he took the afternoon off and we went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo…we LOVE this zoo and the boys LOVE feeding the giraffes!
I just asked Reily was his favorite part about the giraffes was and he said “Petting them. I mean—feeding them!”

It was a fun, beautiful fall day…even though we didn’t get very many pictures!
