I went to my 16 week doctor's appointment yesterday and everything looked and sounded good...the baby's heartbeat was 156 bpm, which apparently is in the "boy" range for this gestational age, according to the old wives tale...so Reily might be getting a little brother! We'll find out for sure in a few weeks...I decided to start taking belly pictures. I'm still wearing my regular clothes and (in my opinion) just look fat...but when I put on these maternity clothes, you can kind of see a bump and not just a bunch of flab! Funny how maternity clothes work like that. I heard something funny that is so true with me:
With your first baby, you start wearing maternity clothes as soon as you find out you're pregnant.
With your second baby, you wear your regular clothes as long as you possibly can.
With your third baby, your maternity clothes are your regular clothes!
Ha!
