Reily got his first haircut today!! We've been putting it off because honestly, he doesn't have much hair. But recently he's developed what Hans and I like to call the mul-hawk. He had really long hair on top like a mohawk, and really long hair in the back that looked like a mullet. Rather than go to a salon and pay money to watch him run around and refuse to sit still (gosh we are so cheap...), we decided to do it ourselves since it was just a little trim. Don't worry though, although I do cut Hans' hair, I won't be cutting Reily's hair in the future!!

We tried toys, a bottle and watching Baby Einstein. The whole ordeal probably took 45 minutes--when it probably should have taken 5!
Hans stepped in to fix--I mean, finish--the job. I may have cut it a little too close in some spots. But a 14 month old looks good with hair gel right?? No one will ever know! :)
I kind of miss his wild look...but it will grow back! :)
