Isaac, out of the blue, decided he wanted to potty train himself. I think he watches Reily and wants to be like his big brother…he can now go potty by himself! (Like how I censored the picture?) :)
Mommy was against potty training until he’s older, because, well I’ll admit it—I’m lazy and it’s just hard. He’s still so young, he needs help getting up on the potty, he doesn’t stay dry through the night, etc. We potty trained Reily completely in a few days when he was just shy of 3 years old…SO EASY! I was planning to do the same with Isaac. But he had other ideas…
So, he CAN go potty in the big boy potty, but he’s very inconsistent and unless you ask him all the time, he’ll have accidents, etc. So I’ve put him back in diapers (I think pull ups are a waste of time and money!), and he only goes when he wants to and usually when he’s naked. We’ll try harder when he’s older…that’s the way we roll…keep it easy. Diapers are easy!
