We had a great 4th of July celebrating our freedom and thanking God for our country and the many blessings we have being Americans that we take for granted every day…
Isaac’s favorite part was the “sparklers” he got to play with…
Reily participated in a bike parade at our neighborhood party and rode his tricycle almost half way through the parade! (Mom and Dad pushed/carried it the rest of the way…but to give him credit, it was a long parade!)
He was so cute!!
They had bouncy castles, so Reily was thrilled…and totally held his own with the big kids!
Daddy and I just enjoyed the free snow cones and watched the kiddos play with the bubble maker! :)
I may be biased, but these are some adorable kids!
We had friends over for a bbq that afternoon, and had a great time…of course I didn’t take any pics. That night the boys were soooo cranky, we decided it wasn’t worth trying to go see fireworks, so we put them to bed! Good thing too, since it started pouring rain and they cancelled the fireworks. Bonus! We watched the rain and the lightning storm from our bed, and then got to see the fireworks the next night while eating ice cream cones with our friends at their house with an amazing view, and the boys were in much better moods! All in all, it was a great fourth!
